Ndlovu Director Conducts Choral Workshop with Craftsbury and Hazen Students

On October 31, music students in grades 6-12 received an amazing 1.5-hour choral lesson from Ralf Schmitt, Conductor of The Ndlovu Choir, hosted at the Hazen Union Auditorium. Schmitt captivated the students as he taught them traditional South African songs. The students picked up the Zulu lyrics quickly, harmonizing beautifully as a chorus. Once the harmonies were in place, Schmitt added simple choreography to the piece, rounding out the workshop. It was a truly joyful experience as the South African spirit resounded throughout the auditorium!
