Welcome to our new online registration process, PowerSchool Enrollment Express!

Here's What to Expect During Online Registration:

Step 1. For students who have never enrolled in an OSSU school, complete the Pre-registration form here. You will receive a confirmation email from OSSU PowerSchool that your pre-registration form has been received by our administrative team. 

*NOTE: If you would like to register more than one child, you will need to submit a pre-registration form for each child you wish to register. 

*NOTE: If you have previously enrolled a student in an OSSU school, even if it was several years ago, do NOT complete the pre-registration form; instead, reach out to the registrar or administrative assistant at the school at which you would like to register for instructions. 

Step 2. You will receive an email invite from OSSU Powerschool to complete your school enrollment. This may take several days, so watch your email! This email will include an Access ID, an Access Password and a link to create an account. After clicking on the link, go to the tab called “Create Account”. Within this portal, you will input your own User Name and your own unique Password (*please make note of these, as you will use these later to log into your registration portal). Under “Link Students to Account”, you will enter the name of the student you are registering and the Access ID and Access Password emailed to you.

*NOTE: If you submitted more than one pre-registration form (one for each child you would like to register), you will receive a separate Access ID and Access Password for each student. You will have only one Parent Account, though, with the same user name and unique password. 

Step 3. After you have successfully set up your new PowerSchool account, you will receive an email with a link to verify your account. To verify, click the link to sign into your PowerShool Account within 24 hours of receiving the message.

Step 4. Gather all required documents PRIOR to starting the registration process. Click this link for a list of required documents and information you will need.

Step 5. You can use a computer, tablet, or phone to complete your school enrollment. If you choose to use the app rather than a web browser, see the instructions below.

Using the PowerSchool Mobile App: To use the app to complete enrollment, you must first download the PowerSchool Mobile App, and log into the portal that you have created. The first time you log into the app, you will need to enter our school code which is JHLB. Click this link for instructions on downloading the mobile app.

Once you have set up your PowerSchool account, you will sign in (https://ps.ossu.org/public/) using the User Name and Password you used in Step 2 to create your account. Once logged in, you will see your student’s dashboard. From a web browser, click on the “Forms” tab (on the left menu). From the app, click on “more” at the bottom of the screen, then click on “Forms”. This is where you will complete all forms in sections A-J, in order:

A. Student Demographics

B. Student Address/Proof of Residency

C. Birth Verification

D. Student Contacts including Emergency Contacts

E. Student Services History

F. Previous Enrollment and Records Release

G. Residency Survey

H. Permissions/Agreements

I. August Schools Health Portal

J. Acknowledgement of Completion

Step 6. The last form (I) is acknowledgement of completion. Once this form is submitted, the registrar will contact you and let you know the status of your enrollment. 

Step 7. Once your student is fully enrolled, you will be able to log into this same portal at any time to access uploaded grades, comments, attendance, and standards and proficiencies for your student. Click this link for more information about using the PowerSchool parent portal.
