OSSU and Hazen Union School warmly welcomed Vermont Secretary of Education Daniel French to Hazen’s halls on Thursday, November 17. Secretary French, Superintendent Baker and Associate Principal Potter popped into some classrooms, greeted students and faculty, and checked out the birdhouses under construction in Design & Tech. Students in Middle level ELA wowed the entourage with an impromptu reciting of Robert Frost’s “Nothing Gold Can Stay”.
