The Agency of Education (AOE) has informed us that Vermont students only need to attend school for 172 days this school year because districts experienced high rates of absences due to illness and extraordinary weather patterns. This lowers the number of required student days from 175 to 172. We were closed exactly 3 days this year. Students do not have to make up any of those days. Therefore, the last day of school for students, assuming we have no more closures, will be the original date on our calendar of Monday, June 12th.
