Act 166 of 2014 provides for universal access to publicly funded prekindergarten education. Children that will be 3, 4 or 5 years old before September 1, 2020 are eligible for 10 hours of publicly funded prekindergarten at prequalified private or public programs.

To register your child for Act 166 funding:
Enroll your child at the prequalified program of your choice, then
Register your child with the public school for their town of residence
To register at the public school, you will need to complete the registration packet, which includes:

Your child’s birth certificate
Your child will not be considered "registered", and will not receive Act 166 funding until all of the above documents have been received by the public school.
