Our school board serves the towns of Greensboro, Hardwick, Woodbury and Stannard, Vermont, serving Pre-K through the 6th grade.

Unless otherwise stated in the agenda, our school board meets the second Thursday of the month from 6 - 8 PM alternating among the three campuses served by Mountain View Union Elementary School District.
Community members can also email the board at mountainviewboard@ossu.org. All school board members, the Superintendent, the Superintendent's Assistant, and the Principals and/or Director of Hardwick Elementary, Woodbury Elementary and Lakeview Early Education Center will receive your email. To remain in compliance with open meeting laws, the board may not respond to email, but all submissions will be reviewed as part of the following public board meeting.

The Mountain View Union Elementary School District (MVU) is forming a subcommittee with the following charge:
The Mountain View School Board will establish a short-term planning committee that will investigate the advantages and disadvantages to further consolidation of buildings in the district. Based on evaluation of data, including financial, access to educational opportunities, community impact, and organizational needs, the committee will provide a summary report by October 1, 2026.
The membership shall be comprised of one board member from each town, two administrators, and one community member from each town. MVU towns are Greensboro, Hardwick/East Hardwick, Stannard, and Woodbury.
