School budgets and property taxes are confusing and frustrating for everyone. The OSSU Board is hosting a conversation on Monday, February 16, from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Jeudevine Memorial Library to help explain how budgets are developed and to help taxpayers understand both school finance AND their tax bill. This is an opportunity for community members from all OSSU member districts - including the towns of Craftsbury, Greensboro, Hardwick, Stannard, Wolcott, and Woodbury - to ask questions and discuss amongst themselves. It’s a conversation between our school boards and community, and we hope you will join us! Light refreshments will be provided. No RSVP necessary.
