The Friends of Hardwick Elementary School (Parent Teacher Organization) has started our annual gift card sale campaign. If you purchase gift cards for holiday gifts or perhaps for yourself for your own holiday shopping, please consider supporting our local school and purchasing them through this campaign. There is absolutely no extra cost to you, you get the face value of the cards you purchase and the Friends of HES gets a percentage of the sales. All cards will be delivered before Thanksgiving.
This year the Friends of HES has some lofty goals including providing t-shirts for all students and staff to foster a sense of community and inclusion, providing new soccer uniforms for next season, providing funds for the Fall Book Fair so all kids have a chance at getting a book, providing enrichment funds for every classroom including the Library, Art, Music, and Physical Education, and more. These enrichment funds have been used for things like books, classroom supplies, classroom celebrations, field trips, bringing in external speakers. These things are only possible through our fundraising efforts.
If you are a HES family, I encourage you to consider participating. You should have received your packet this week. If you are an HES family and need more order forms or anyone else who would like to purchase some cards to support our school, please let me know. THANK YOU! It takes a village!
