Hello Hardwick Families,
A big thanks to our Friends of HES for the goodies and gift certificates and snacks they provided the staff for teacher appreciation week. It really lifted everyone’s spirits! It is great to have such supportive parents and community!
I hope you all have an enjoyable mother’s day weekend.
6th grade Step up Ceremony will take place at 5:30 on Thursday, June 10th. Our tentative plan is for a parade of cars starting at the ball field at 5:30 and traveling to Atkins Field for the Ceremony. Stay tuned for more details over the next few weeks.

Please remember to continue wearing a mask when picking up or dropping off. I know the CDC guidance is changing but schools still ask that everyone is masked during these times.

East Hardwick Children's Parade
The East Hardwick Children's Parade will be held this year on the second Saturday of June, the 12th, at 11:00 am. Line up at 10:30 at Hardwick Chiropractic, 54 School Circle, East Hardwick. Once again the parade will be presented by Caledonia Grange #9, The First Congregational Church of E. H., & the East Hardwick Neighborhood Organization.
All children from the surrounding community are invited to participate and spectators are encouraged to cheer along the parade route.
Following the parade, Modern Times Theater will be hosting a kid-powered street fair with games, treats, and entertainment. The church will be offering refreshments for sale, and the Swap Sisters will have a plant swap and giveaway. All aspects of the event will follow state health guidelines: stay home if you are sick and wear a mask when you cannot maintain a 6-foot distance.

Spring NWEA Testing for Remote Students
It’s time for the Winter NWEA testing. We will be testing our remote students on May 17th, 18th, and 21st. Please see the linked flyer below for more information. It is essential that we have assessment data for all our students so we can plan for meeting their needs over the next year.
